This weekend, Alabama’s official celebration of America’s 250th anniversary of independence will take place on July 3–4 at the American Village in Montevallo. The American Village is Alabama’s Semiquincentennial celebration capital.
As part of the nationwide celebration of the United States Semiquincentennial, the two-day Sweet Home 250 event will serve as a signature statewide event for the thousands of visitors expected.
