Since 2021, the Hueytown Area Chamber of Commerce has awarded service scholarships to deserving students, totaling $28,500.
The courtyard at Venue 3131 in Hueytown was the site for the 2026 Hueytown Area Chamber’s annual presentation of service scholarships.
Recognized were the Junior Ambassadors with the Hueytown Area Chamber of Commerce from Hueytown High School.
Honored were Nickolas Rosser, Madison Woolen, Leionna Ware, and Katelyn Thomas.
The award is based on community service hours earned through leadership, service, and dedication to the community.
Planning the program were Catherine Verciglio, Debbie Kiker, Lisa Kregiel, and Wesley Wicks.
The event would not be possible were it not for the generous support of the sponsors.
This is another project contributing to the growth and development of the City of Hueytown.
