Storytelling is a means of communication and education. Whether short or long, people love storytelling.
The Voices of Storytelling program will be hosted by First Christian Church-Birmingham on Sunday, May 31, starting at 1:30 p.m.
The church is located at 4954 Valleydale Road in Birmingham.
The program is being organized by Jim Langley and members of the Hoover Historical Society. The Society is presenting this first-ever storytelling program.
Step back in time as you enjoy stories of adventure in everyday life from tellers Joe Limbaugh, Edd Spencer, Mary Pat Spencer, Randy Nix, Jess Nix, Kathey Long, and Jim Langley.
The titles of the stories that will be told are “The Colonel,” “The Exec,” “The Judge,” “The Principal,” and “The Adventure.”
