Incumbent Bessemer City Councilwoman Sarah Bell Person asks for your vote and continued support. The District 3 councilwoman is seeking re-election.

The Bessemer Municipal Election will be held on Tuesday, August 25. The polls will open at 7 a.m. and close at 7 p.m.
Her campaign slogan is “Keep the Bell ringing for the right Person.”
Councilwoman Person stated, “It has been a pleasure serving the good people of District 3, and I look forward to four more years.”
An assistant principal at Bessemer City High School, Councilwoman Person will never ask anyone to do something she would not do.
Her career in education has spanned 26 years. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Miles College in 2000 and earned a Master’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of West Alabama in 2011. She also holds an EDS from the University of West Alabama and the University of Montevallo.
