Bessemer City Councilman Teco Stephens loves Bessemer and Bessemer’s promising future.

The Bessemer Municipal election will be held on Tuesday, August 25. The polls will open at 7 a.m. and close at 7 p.m.
He is not just running for office, he is investing in the community where he works, lives and raises his family.
Councilman Stephens’ enthusiasm is contagious.
Since being elected in February of 2025, Councilman Stephens’ commitment to the good people of District 5 has grown even greater.
“It has been my honor to serve as your councilman over the past year and a half. I would appreciate your vote, and together we can finish what we started,” said Councilman Stephens.
His most important program to date is, “If you see it, Click it,” The program has been highly effective with the residents of District 5.
He is working on establishing a commercial connector so he can communicate with his constituents and better understand the needs of the community.
