It is hard to believe, but that most wonderful time of the year is quickly approaching. Christmas is only 77 days away.

The annual Holiday Arts & Crafts Show sponsored by the Bessemer Hall of History will take place Oct. 16 and 17. The doors open at 9 a.m. and will close at 4 p.m. each day.
Admission to the event is free.

In between shopping, enjoy a Southern summertime staple meal prepared by the members of the Hall of History Board.

This fundraising event, which benefits the Bessemer Hall of History Museum, will be held in the Family Life Center at Pleasant Hill Methodist Church in McCalla.

Luellen Nagle is chairman of the planning committee, and assisting her are Chris Eiland, J.B. Thrasher, Woody Mathis, Linda Lenhardt and Becky Rainey.

Shirley Vines Butler is chairman of the Hall of History Board.
Santa Claus is expected at the event on Saturday, Oct. 17.
