The second annual Faith is Believing Ministry Church yard sale, held Saturday, Sept. 12, was a blessing for the customers and for the church.
The sisters of the church arrived early to set up at the church, 1230 Third Ave. North in Bessemer. The Rev. Randy Coleman is the minister, and Sister Yvette Hunter and Angela Woods planned the fundraiser. Members of Jesus is Lord Ministry Church, also of Bessemer, worked alongside them.
Coleman quoted Hebrews 11:1: “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”
Money raised goes toward a fence for the rear of the church.
