Hueytown’s National Night Out event will be held at the Hueytown High School on Saturday, August 22. The public is encouraged to attend.
This free, family-friendly event will start at 5 p.m. and end at 6:30 p.m.
Prior to the Battle of the Badges softball game, which will start at 7 p.m., you will want to attend the Hueytown National Night Out event at Hueytown High School.
The purpose of National Night Out is an occasion for law enforcement and first responders to meet the citizens in the communities they serve while promoting neighborhood partnerships and public safety.
This meet-and-greet event is a grand opportunity to meet elected officials, community partners, police officers and firefighters.
On display will be crime scene unit demonstrations, police and emergency vehicles, public works equipment and inflatables.
There will also be food trucks, face painting and photo opportunities.
