UWA announces Spring 2026 President’s List

The University of West Alabama has announced nearly 1,200 outstanding undergraduate students receiving academic honors for the Spring 2026 academic semester, including nearly 700 named to the Dean’s List and nearly 500 named to the President’s List.

Spring 2026 academic honors recipients represent 62 out of 67 Alabama counties and 77 counties from 25 other states.

The Dean’s List recognizes undergraduate students with grade-point averages between 3.25 and 3.79 who completed at least 12 semester credit hours, with no grade lower than a “C.”

The President’s List recognizes undergraduate students with exceptionally high grades for the semester, those with grade-point averages of 3.80 or higher who completed at least 12 semester credit hours, with no grade lower than a “C.”

Local students recognized include:

  • Alexandra Robinson of Hueytown, majoring in Accounting
  • Kevin Garcia of Pelham, majoring in Engineering Technology
  • Madelyn Harris of Pelham, majoring in Interdisciplinary Studies
  • Lacey Lambert of Pelham, majoring in Engineering Technology
