Jack-o’-Lanterns and Trick or Treaters scream frightful Halloween

Trick-or-Treat!

Trick-or-Treat!

Tonight the witches, vampires, ghosts and goblins will have a spooky good time as they go door to door shouting “Trick or Treat” for candy and other goodies.

The voices from under the Halloween costumes will fill the late October sky with fear just like things that go bump in the night.

This spooktacular time of the year is celebrated in many countries with fun and frightening Halloween activities including attending costume parties, hay rides, bonfires, apple bobbing and, scariest of all, going to haunted houses.

Some even sit in a pumpkin patch waiting on the witching hour and the arrival of the Great Pumpkin.

After 58 years, Linus still believes in the Great Pumpkin and that he will rise out of the pumpkin patch. He also writes a letter to the Great Pumpkin.

Long after the little ones and the big ones have emptied their plastic, orange pumpkins or Target shopping bags, Linus will still be in the pumpkin patch.

Well, maybe next year. Happy Halloween!
