Team donates 150 backpacks filled with first day of school essentials
BIRMINGHAM, Ala., August 26, 2025 – The Birmingham-based Bio- Horizons team recently packed 150 backpacks filled with school supplies to help local students get ready for the upcoming school year. As part of Henry Schein’s “Back to School” Program, Bio- Horizons partnered with The TEA Spot Inc., a nonprofit supporting children and families in St. Clair County, to distribute the backpacks along with snack bags to students in the local community.
For 28 years, Henry Schein’s “Back to School” program has continued to expand into a global initiative coordinated across various Company-operated sites. The initiative has had a positive impact on over 75,000 children worldwide by providing support and resources to help students start their educational journey with confidence.
BioHorizons is a wholly owned subsidiary of Henry Schein, Inc., the world’s largest provider of health care solutions to office-based dental and medical practitioners, having been fully acquired in 2018. The “Back to School” initiative closely aligns with BioHorizons’ dedication to supporting the communities in which it operates.
