Community event aims to break the stigma of addiction and celebrate recovery
Calhoun/Cleburne County, AL — Grace Recovery Ministries, a non-profit Recovery Community Organization, is proud to announce the upcoming Voices of Hope Recovery Rally, taking place on Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. This inspiring community event will raise awareness about addiction, provide valuable resources, and celebrate the hope and healing found in recovery.
Grace Recovery Ministries is dedicated to offering peerled services to individuals facing mental health and substance misuse challenges. The organization serves as a safe haven where people can access resources, peer support, and education about recovery.
“Substance misuse is a real problem in every community across the United States,” said Alisha Beck, Co-Founder and Director of Grace Recovery Ministries. “Our vision is to educate the community on addiction and recovery while offering hope to those still struggling. We don’t have to live in the shadows anymore — we’re raising our voices to reach someone still suffering.”
The Voices of Hope Recovery Rally will feature:
- Live music and performances
- Powerful testimonies from individuals in recovery
- Recovery resources and peer support services
- Family-friendly activities, including children’s events
This rally is more than an event — it’s a movement to break stigma, educate the community, and celebrate the journey of recovery. Addiction impacts everyone in some way, and this rally offers a space for the community to come together, learn, and support one another.
