Riverside – ALDOT is preparing for a significant maintenance project on the I- 20 WB bridge over the Coosa River (MP 164.724) which will require an extended lane closure.
In early October, area motorists and businesses should prepare for only one lane of westbound traffic on the bridge for up to seven days during the critical maintenance.
ALDOT is offering advance notice to give everyone affected by the expected traffic delays an opportunity to find secondary paths around the construction on I-20 Westbound in Riverside.
More specific timelines and alternate route instructions will be released one week prior to the bridge lane closure.
