
The mission of the Bluff Park Art Association is to promote art in homes, schools and public places.
The 62nd Annual Bluff Park Art Show is planned for Saturday, October 4, at the Bluff Park Community Park, 517 Cloudland Drive, Hoover.
123 artists from across the United States will be at the event marketing and selling their art work.
The mediums represented at this year’s show include clay, glass, jewelry, metalworking, painting, photography, printmaking, 2-D and 3-D mixed media, ceramics and sculpture.
There will be a guest-working artist at the show, sculptor Craigger Browne, artist-in-residence, Sylacauga Marble. A Vestavia Hills native, he now works exclusively with Alabama marble
The Girl Scout Troop #746 will again host their Kids Art Hut.
Shuttle service and school buses will be available throughout the day.
There will also be food trucks and great music for your entertaining pleasure.
The free event is held each year on the first Saturday of October.
