The Third Annual Women in Business Luncheon was held on Tuesday, March 17, in Hueytown. The event, hosted by the Hueytown Area Chamber of Commerce, was focused on inspiring, uplifting, and celebrating women in business. Lisa Kriegel, president of the Hueytown Chamber, noted that the sold-out event was held in the Fireside Room at the Hueytown Family Recreation Center on Hueytown Road.
Planning the encouraging event were Lisa Kriegel, Meagan Kiker, Catherine Verciglio, Dawn Penfield, and Debbie Kiker. Debbie Kiker serves as the director of the Hueytown Chamber of Commerce. The wonderful luncheon was sponsored by AmFirst, Off the Beaten Path, and State Farm-Marietta Wicks. All these remarkable women make a grand difference in our communities.
Many ideas were shared and business relationships established as the ladies enjoyed a delicious luncheon served by the Chamber’s Junior Ambassadors. Jamie Black, owner and operator of BFR McDonald’s, served as the guest speaker for the occasion.
