ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed proposals for the construction of Park Road Water Improvements will be received by Warrior River Water Authority (WRWA), Oak Grove, Alabama (Owner) located at the WRWA Office, 8900 Lock 17 Road, Bessemer, Alabama 35023 until 10:00 a.m., the prevailing time, on March 10, 2026, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read.
The bid is comprised of the following principal items and approximate quantities:
- 1,425 ± Feet of 6” Water Main and Appurtenances
- New Municipex Services and Meter Reconnection/Relocations
Plans and Specifications may be inspected at the WRWA office at the address above, and they may be inspected or obtained from the office of Municipal Consultants, Inc., 200 Century Park South, Suite 212, Birmingham, Alabama 35226, upon payment of $75.00. Cost of plans and specifications is non-refundable.
All Bidders must be responsible, meeting the criteria and requirements set forth in the specification documents. Prequalification of Bidders is not required.
This project is considered a “Public Works” project and is governed by competitive bid laws as contained in Title 39 of the Alabama Code. Bidders, subcontractors, suppliers, and Bond Agents should be familiar with this code.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technicalities. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty days from the date set for receiving of the same.
There will not be a Pre-Bid Conference for this Project.
This project is governed by the applicable bid laws and practices of the State of Alabama and U.S. Department of Treasury.
