March 8 We “Spring Forward”

Remember to set your clock ahead one hour at 2 a.m. on Sunday, March 8.

If you cannot stay up that late, simply move your clocks ahead one hour on Saturday evening.

Daylight saving time begins on the second Sunday in March.

So what if we lose an hour of sleep? We always get used to it.

The time change allows us to take advantage of more daylight hours.

Implemented in 1918, this energy-saving measure contributed to conserving fuel and power during World War I. Great Britain and Germany were the first countries to institute the time change.

The states of Arizona and Hawaii do not observe daylight saving time.

Daylight saving time, set by federal law, ends on the first Sunday in November. ⏰
