A University’s President’s List honors students for academic achievement.
Emma Lawley of McCalla has recently earned a place on the University of Montevallo President’s List.
The List recognizes students who achieve a 4.00 or greater grade point average (GPA).
Lawley, a freshman, is the daughter of Heather and Brian Lawley of McCalla.
A 2025 graduate of the Jefferson County International Baccalaureate School, she is attending the University of Montevallo as a MAPS Scholar. She is pursuing a triple major in mass communications, political science, and marketing.
Lawley is distinguishing herself as she serves as a senator in the Montevallo Student Government Association, co-president of the Honors organization, a Montevallo Maven, and is active with the University Program Council and the Gold Side Production book.
