Incumbent Hueytown City Councilman Anthony Wright was sworn in last Monday, November 3, at Hueytown City Hall.
Councilman Wright was sworn in by Hueytown Municipal Judge Ken Moore, and his wife LaBeatrix Wright held the Holy Bible.
This will be his second term serving on the Hueytown City Council.
“I look forward to working with Mayor Steve Ware and the city council members for the next four years and continuing the progress we have made over the last five years,” stated Councilman Wright.
The councilman has been committed to improving the quality of life for the citizens of Hueytown and making them feel safe.
The Hueytown City Council meets on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m.
