Members of Hueytown Area Chamber of Commerce
The City of Hueytown is a good steward of the city’s finances.
At a recent meeting of the Hueytown City Council a motion was made and unanimously approved awarding donations to numerous local organizations totaling $210,000.
On behalf of the city council, Hueytown Mayor Steve Ware presented checks to the Hueytown Area Chamber of Commerce, Hueytown Public Library, Hueytown Arts Council, all Hueytown Youth Sports, Hueytown CityFest, Hueytown area schools and the Hueytown High School Quarterback Club.
Mayor Ware stated, “It is important to give back to the community we serve. When we invest in our schools and local programs, we build a strong future for the city of Hueytown.”
The contributions the city makes strengthen the relationship between the citizens and their local leaders.
