Bessemer City Councilman Jarvis Collier invites all to the 2nd Annual Trick or Treat event in DeBardeleben Park on Friday, October 31. This is a safe trick or treat area.
Bring the entire family for a fun and safe afternoon in the park starting at 4 p.m. and ending at 7 p.m.
Sponsoring the Halloween event with Councilman Collier are Juanita Graham with Alabama Stem Education and Kamala Horn.
Councilman Collier stated, “I am excited about our 2nd annual Trick or Treat event, and I plan on it being bigger and better next year.”
The costumed children will enjoy delicious, sweet treats and games during a fun-filled Halloween celebration.
There will also be a food and candy giveaway and door prizes. Vendors are welcome.
The Bessemer Police Department, the Bessemer Fire Department, District Attorney’s Office and the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office will be in the park participating.
