Supporting the youth department and campus ministry in the church is vital to the existence and growth of the church.
After all, the youth are the future of the church.
The Youth Department at Holy Cross Episcopal Church in Trussville invites all Episcopal parishes and the public to join them for DIO DAY 2025 and DIO OLYMPICS on Sunday, October 5. The church is located at 90 Parkway Drive in Trussville.
The Rev. Susan Southwick is the rector of Holy Cross.
The event starts at 2 p.m. and ends at 4 p.m.
Youth grades 7-12 are encouraged to attend and participate in the first-ever DIO OLYMPICS.
Among the activities will be friendly games, crafts, music and worship.
An offering will be collected to support the Hank Poole Foundation, the Dio Day mission.
