Who better to ask concerning a playground project than children?
Last week, on September 19, the City of Hoover did just that.
Neighborhood children in the Bluff Park community of Hoover were asked their thoughts about the Bluff Park playground. The playground is located at 517 Cloudland Drive.
It was the design of the Hoover Park and Recreation staff to ask their opinion at a meeting with Bluff Park residents.
At the meeting plans were outlined for the renovation of the playground which will include new playground equipment and accessibility upgrades.
At the Bluff Park Playground Party held on Friday, September 19, the children told the Park and Recreation Team their favorite colors and playground equipment they enjoy playing on at the park.
Following the meeting, the children participated in fun activities, giveaways, ate ice cream, toured the Hoover Public Library’s Bookmobile and climbed on a fire truck.
