“The Wright Choice for a Stronger Future” was the perfect campaign slogan for incumbent Hueytown City Councilman, District 4, Anthony Wright.
Councilman Wright was reelected to a second term by defeating newcomer Emma White 109 to 53.
“I want to thank my family, friends and neighbors for their encouragement and support in my successful bid for re-election,” stated Councilman Wright.
As chairman of Public Safety, Councilman Wright pledges to continue making the citizens of Hueytown feel safe.
He is also focused on finding ways to better the communication between the citizens and city hall and improving the quality of life in the city.
The Hueytown City Council meets on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m. and Councilman Wright invites and encourages the public to attend the meetings.
His swearing-in ceremony will be held on Tuesday, November 3.
